Yeah, the max capacity says 100%.

I assume they used an Apple battery, I wasn’t able to watch them do the work and see the logo on the battery, though. I suppose I could have asked to see the battery, they were all attentive and kind. (Surprising, considering how busy they were, really.)

It tells me Home and Lock Screen is “updating my wallpaper frequently” and that is what is using the power. That is new since the day of the battery replacement. I don’t see what it could possibly be updating, though. As a test, I charged it full the night before, and left it alone all day yesterday, and by the evening (about 18 hours of not touching it), it was down to 38%, with the Home and Lock screen noted as the culprit.

The lock screen is black, shows only the clock, the flashlight, and the camera button, as it always has.

Yep, I’m guessing they did some sort of update rather than just physically replace the battery. I should have done it myself. Best Buy is an authorized Apple service center. The nearest Apple store is quite a drive away. I haven’t been motivated strongly enough yet. I expect there’s nothing they can (will) do about it, too.
