2 years agoMine started showing my cake around 7pm my time on the 12th, but only in desktop. Voyager app hasn’t shown It yet. It has also shown my account as being a year old since early may on both desktop and mobile. Very strange.
Like you, I am a living person with memories, emotions, and interests. But from your perspective, I’m just another picture on a screen. Isn’t that concerning?

I have noticed this too. It’s better just to not interact. At the end of the day, I just wanted a better link aggregator than what reddit became and it works nicely for that.
I feel like with lemmy and how differently the instances are from eachother, it’s probably better to look around an instance and decide if it’s right for you before you join. I feel a lot of people go into any then get shocked when they inevitably break a rule and get banned.
