A regex or regular expression is a language to declare patterns to be matched.

You see that “communis(t|m)”? That’s a simple regex that matches both “communist” and “communism”. You can make one for every pattern imaginable, like a username and every number combination afterwards and so on.

Serverless is more like it’s running everywhere and nowhere all at once. One line of code might be 3000 kilometres from another.
