So you’re still describing solutions, not the root problem.
Describe the problem in detail.
The problem (hehe) is we often understand what we’re trying to solve, and end up leading with trying to solve difficulties in the solution we’ve chosen, and get stuck there (I’ve done it a million times, fortunately had some leadership and peers who were good at asking questions to get us back to the root problem).
Someone else mentioned HDMI extensions. Are you just trying to view a remote monitor from within a recording booth?
Can you simply mount a giant monitor/tv to the outside of the booth so people inside can see it?
Or use an HDMI/DP capable TV inside? Or use a NUC?


I mean, this guy is an ass, and deserves some stuff punishment. Some places this could cause them to close up shop.
On the side, what kind of business doesn’t have a team doing this stuff with accountability/approvals/controls, and especially for someone being fired.
