For post searches, could there be a [] Search Title Only? I have been reading a post and had my client crash and was unable to find the post again, despite recalling some or all of the title.

I also do a foreign word of the day and when I want to check if I am duplicating a post I have to skim through all of the posts that include that word.

One problem with that, is not all instances are federated. That is the beauty of lemmy being decentralized is that there can be multiple instances of a community. See the drama regarding !196@lemmy.blahaj.zone vs !196@lemmy.world vs whatever the other one was.

Some users prefer specific instances over others. I try to avoid .world and .ml communities when possible because of their typically heavy handed moderation, instead opting for smaller communities and instances.

Try re-pairing it (unpair, then pair again.) Had an issue with my iphone 14 and my 2015 Tacoma’s infotainment system not working together, but since i repaired them everything seems peachy.

I wish blocking communities worked more like mute. There are some I do not want to see on my feed but from time to time may feel like browsing them.

I think one major difference, and this may not matter to everyone, but there are no apps for kbin currently. While there are a number of apps for lemmy on both iOS and Android.

I had heard about lemmy a while back, but after having tried mastadon I thought Lemmy was just another Twitter clone so I did not try it until the api debacle.
